What People Are Saying
Gail and Pips
"What do you do when it appears that your 2 1/2 year old dog doesn’t like you and ignores you?"
"I turned to Mackenzie and she was willing to come and meet with us. Her love for dogs comes through right away. Our initial meeting included an intake, goal-setting conversation, and an observation of how we relate to each other. With her help, we learned a variety of games and activities that reinforced basic obedience skills while interacting in a fun way."

"Mackenzie is genuine in her desire to help both dog and owner—she is clear in her instructions, positive in her tone, and patient. She was well prepared with learning objectives and ready to try different activities if something wasn’t working. "
I appreciate what Mackenzie did for us and encourage others to reach out and work with her to achieve desired goals with their dogs. "
Tucker and Paige
"Tucker and I worked with Mackenzie and I have seen huge improvements in his behavior. I initially reached out for leash reactivity but Mackenzie has helped us with other fundamental commands/manners that improve our day to day life at home as well as out and about in the world."

"We meet weekly for an hour to practice techniques in real time. We usually start the training sessions with a recap of our week, demonstrating the progress Tuck and I have made and discussing any setbacks and how to overcome them. After that, we move onto new commands. Mackenzie will explain the concept behind the training approach and then demonstrate the method before Tuck and I practice together. We are able to work through issues on the spot and Mackenzie teaches me how to address them right then and there, answering all my questions as we go."
"A lot of the training is designed for the human which I think is more than accurate. After each session, Tucker and I have homework to work on daily until we meet again."

"Tucker loves Mackenzie and is so food motivated so the training sessions are fun for all! We have learned so much and look forward to challenging ourselves with new commands and lots of practice."

Mackenzie to the rescue!
My 2.5 yo golden retriever, Ivy, was having fear issues when I attempted to bring her into stores. Ivy and I had a few private lessons with Mackenzie that were life savors! Thanks to her expertise, patience, passion for training, Mackenzie taught me many helpful tips to help Ivy overcome her fears. She’s opened my eyes to being more patient with Ivy and how to turn fear into fun!! Grateful for Mackenzie’s help!
